Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: golden burnt orange color with a two and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orangey to pineapple-y to subtle mango hop notes with a slight sweet herbal to earthy whiff in the middle and a softer malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-juicy bittersweet quality; finishes sweet with a touch of juicy oranges
Texture: light to medium bodied; somewhat sesionable; some smoothness but a discernible dryness seems to level out the smoothness a bit; good low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nice enough NEIPA I could come back to.

Can from DBW. Clouded off yellow pour. Was a year old can but it hit the right marks of citrus etc. Pretty good.

Hazy golden colour with an amber hue, a big frothy-creamy warm off-white head, very good retention and some creamy lacing left. A very juicy nose with oranges mostly, blended with a herbal touch of the hops. Pineapple aromas do come out to sweeten things a bit. Not overly carbonated, quite juicy of a mouthfeel. Not super dry in the finish, but not too thick as well. The alcohol is very well-hidden with more of a bite of citrus zest, then warming. Citrusy and milder than the nose. A beautiful, juicy Double NEIPA that goes down very smoothly. I am thankful they brought this one back again... and would have again in the future.

At IC: I think my can may have been a bit olde. Pours sort of hazy orange. Malty, fruity aromas. Sweet, low bitterness, too much malt backbone. Meh.

16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold pour. Large frothy beige head. Earthy, yeasty malt aroma hints at orange and apricot. Sharp citrus notes upfront. Orange and grapefruit are the predominant flavors. Some stickiness on the palate. A hint of orange pith and pine in the finish.

Pours hazy deep gold into an English pint. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Dusty tropical fruit aromas. Thick with dark caramel and citrus peel upfront turning to thick, earthy bark and dough in the medium length finish.

Tangerine and grapefruit. Rich hop aroma -- intense but well done. Love that these guys are suddenly coming through in a big way on these IPAs in the last few years. Murky golden pour with good head and lacing. Some bitterroot and a touch of booze. Bitter end with a little lime. Can from Crafthouse in Ballston.
