@home poured into a pint glass. Deep dark brown, small frothy tan head, diminishing slowly, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, cocoa powder, coffee, laurel, brown sugar. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, roasty, dark chocolate, brown sugar, caramel. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry roasted malt aftertaste, burnt sugar/caramel, pleasant and easy to drink, nice.

Bouteille 33cl, BB06/02/2022. Bottled 06/02/2020.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 20 Oct 2019) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Roasted, malty taste with notes of coffee, roasted grain, dark chocolate and a mild roasty bitterness in a sweetish finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced stout. Nice one.

(Thx!) Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark brown, uneven tanned bubbles. Nose is nice cacao, chocolate, basic cheap chocolate & cold coffee. Taste & body is rather empty decent cacao, cheap chocolate, instant coffee. Fairly decent but also a bit weak and empty but it fairs rather agreeably.
