Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! It's a hazy, maple-syrup brown with nice sparkle, 3-finger pale tan foamy head with good retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is toasted malt/burnt sugar. Taste is earthy toasted malt. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with mild lingering bitterness. Overall, nothing special but pretty fair Dunkel representative.

Olfactif aux accents grillés de pain brun, de noix, avec une touche de chocolat. Léger manque de puissance. Une toute petite mousse effervescente traine sur un liquide clair et brunâtre aux reflets rubis. Entrée de bouche aux notes de noisettes et de pain grillé avec une bonne amertume feuillue et terreuse en fond de bouche. Assez pétillante avec un corps assez mince, elle développe une légère astringence en finale. Caractère malté de noisettes et houblons feuillus en sont les principales caractéristiques. Corecte.

Can, 473 ml, purchased at the brewery, savoured on October 10 2017; eye: seal brown, opaque, khaki head that turns into a ring, light lacing; nose: malt, caramel, nutty, roasting, coffee; mouth: malt, caramel, nutty, roasting, bittering hops, coffee, tannin, light dusty, surprisingly dry finale in nuts with presence of malt, surprisingly bitter, lightly sweet, harsh texture; overall: fine

Canette 473ml. Couleur brune très foncée presque opaque laissant à peine filtrer la lumière, mousse moka pâle onctueuse et tenace laissant une superbe dentelle. Arôme de malt grillé, pointe de café, houblon terreux. Goût de malt grillé, houblon feuillu, amertume moyenne plutôt longue, fruité, café. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Can: Poured a cloudy brown color Dunkel with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with light biscuit notes. Taste is a mix caramelized malt with some biscuit notes with some heavy bready yeast notes. Body is full with great carbonation. Not a style I am very accustomed to but this example was well brewed and quite enjoyable.

A lightly hazed dark brown dunkel with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with herbaceous character, nice nutty notes, dark fruits, molasses, very nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with loads of dark fruits, resinous herbaceous character, light chocolate, nice and pleasant.
