Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a medium brown foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of Brett is more dominant then I was expecting with some light fruity and roasted malt notes also noticeable. Taste is also very much dominated by Brett notes with some light fruity undertones and some roasted malt. Body is lighter then I was expecting with some good carbonation and no real apparent alcohol notes. Not bad but bourbon notes are hard to distinguish and Brett as really taken over this beer.

Sergey’s hunt; bottle 104/200, Barils d’exception
On one side the Brett and spirits add layers to the base beer (cherry acidity, mild astringency), on the other side I like the base beer so much that I don’t consider this twist an improvement, it’s rather a side move.
It’s balanced and dynamic. Very good.

At Brian’s during special LTM beers tasting. 750ml bottle, #104/200 (thx, Hugo!). Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sour, bretts, stone fruits, roasted malt. Taste is the same with some chocolate notes. Very good and balanced. Liked it.
