Bouteille 341ml. Olfactif extrêmement parfumé avec des effluves de mangue, de fruit de la passion et de légère cassonade. Présence herbacée et résineuse avec une touche d’alcool. Bon col de mousse sur liquide doré légèrement voilé. La mousse persiste. La chaleur d’alcool domine l’entrée de bouche avec les résineux, donnant une finale frisant l’astringence. Le pétillement est fort et, combiné avec l’intensité de l’alcool, amenuise le fruité et la complexité du houblonnage. Dommage, j’aurais aimé retrouver cette complexité de fruits tropicaux de l’olfactif. Présence cependant d’un léger caramel et cassonade issus du malt. Beau potentiel à l’olfactif, mais légère déception en bouche.

Bottle: Poured a bright blonde color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and light tropical fruits notes s quite enticing. Taste is a solid mix of floral citrusy hops notes with some light tropical fruits undertones, some hints of residual sugar and light bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is full enough for style with good carbonation. Solid IPA with world-class flavours.

Keg at Noctem, Québec City. Cloudy pale golden, mid sized head. Generous tangerine aroma with a touch of menthe. Dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tangerine and lime dominates. Mid bitter finish. Modern style hazy hop driven IPA, with the lack of depth usually associated with these beers. Good, not great.

A hazed golden ipa with a super thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, loads of citrusy floral hops, resinous and piney, clover field, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of piney citrusy floral hops, pink grapefruit, very nice. On tap at La Cuvée d’été, 2015.
