12oz bottle at Taste of Love, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear orange amber with a thin white head. The aroma is herbal, light toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, sugary toffee, herbal, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Clear orange golden color with a big thick frothy off white head that leaves a fine lacing. Rich balanced grapefruit hoppy and mild tropical fruity. Slightly sweet, and a fine balanced bitterness. Average carbonation level and an oily texture. Solid grapefruit hoppy, tropical fruity and a deep malty back. Pleasant and tasty DIPA. Rich taste without being an overkill. (Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with orange marmalade, dried apricots, resin, grapefruit, caramel and honey. Hoppy malty taste with notes of orange marmalade, resin, apricots, caramel, grapefruit, honey and a solid citric, piney bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Impressive hop presence, quite bitter with a good malt backbone. As stated on the label, refined yet agressive. Very nice.

Cask at GBBF 2017, day 1 - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds juicy citrus and light pine. Medium sweet flavour with mellow bitter pine, more juicy citrus character. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous in the finish, with some pale bread sweetness, light rindy bitterness, nips of gooey pine. Great stuff.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Sierra Nevada Hoptimum 2017 ].Unclear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, spruce, citrus, grapefruit, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, pine, grapefruit, dried fruit, pale malt - caramel. Bottle(vintage 2017): Deep golden, hazy, big - stable - creamy - off-white head; moderate to solid bitter-sweet nose of caramel and toasted malt - plus molasses - and citrus-fruity hops with traces of soy-sauce underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied, quite soft; lingering sweet-bitter citrussy and malty finish. Great Bier! Well balanced and - regarding its strength - extremely well drinkable...

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange pith, light grapefruit zest, pine resin, tangerine, straw. Taste comprises mango, orange pith, pine needle, airy malts, orange wine gums, melon. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, drying close splashed with semi aggressive juicy hop bitterness. Solid stuff for a DIPA on cask dispense.

Bottled. pours rather clear, blonde. Small white, rather unstable head but much lacing. Smell is very sharp, almost s sharp as minthy ( but not minthy, of course ) citrussy, Tad green. No real maltyness, clean fermentation profile. medium to medium low intensity overall. Taste is full, intense, pine ( very much pine ! ) mild citrussy notes. Not so much of the tropical fruits survived against the strong pine, resins, and bold, herbal 'green' hops. Very mild malty base, it can carry the hoppyness, but doesnt provide a malty backbone in the flavor. clean fermentation profile. Aftertaste is resiny. Good beer, but not great to me since I would prefer a more complex, more refreshing hopblend , and/or more of a malty flavored base. Carbonation is medium-low, body is medium

12oz bottle pours with a near clear deep gold body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up booze muted cantaloupe, mango, pineapple and some guava. The taste delivers booze, a resiny hop bitter bite and sweet cantaloupe, guava and mango. The tropical fruity juiciness is kind of muted like in the aroma. Pretty solid easy drinking boost juice.
