cask gravity at Pigs Ear. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, creamy, bitter - sweet, chocolate cake, hint of toasted coconut and vanilla fudge. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, fudge, varnish, permanent marker pen, chocolate, chewy, umami, coffee, liqourice with a smooth finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Soft, sweet, umami and chewy. Not bad.

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear Festival 2016. Black beer lasting tan head. yes some heat some oily mouthfeel. Yes a big intense dark chocolate impy stout. Like eating a dark chocolate bar. Cadbury Bournville. A bit intense. Hides abv well .

Cask at Pigs Ear 2016. Pours deep brown with a bubbly, tan head. Moderate roast in the nose, chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavour, gooey chocolate, mellow earthy bitterness, dark fruits, raisins, slight ash. Full bodied with fine carbonation and chewy texture. Lightly warming in the finish, with sticky chocolate, subdued roast, light bitterness, more dark fruits. Great stuff overall.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is rich dark choc subdued ashy roast, Figgy pudding cakey malts. Flavour is composed of sweet jammy fruits, dark choc, earth, pudding cake and a little vanilla. Palate is thick and sticky sweet, moderate carbonation, little cough syrup.
