Off white bubbly head left a froth on a chestnut coloured still body. Malt, caramel & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, tingly & sharp in the back. Caramel, malt, toffee, roasted & burnt tastes with a sweet fruity finish. Not very bitter for a Bitter.....

20/3/2020. Bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours dark amber bronze with a modest off-white head. Nice aroma of malt, biscuit, caramel, hops, a touch of bread and nutty chocolate. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Body is a little thin and watery but at 3.7% it's ok. Quite a drinkable sessionable bitter.
