On cask at Alexanders, Kendal. Appearance - amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - burnt bread and light toffee. Taste - more toffee this time. Crunchy dry biscuit finish. Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - decent example of the style.

On cask, Dog and Gun, Keswick - Clear old gold body with a thick foamy head which is lasting quite a while. A floral nose with some grass and sweetness there. The first taste is sweet, but goes into a bitter toffee-cum-caramel taste. Kinda oily and moderate carbonation, with a malty aftertaste. Not too bad.
