as humleby brown ale, mørkgylden og fyldig !ABV 5.2%! clear brown, light, light brown head. roasted malty and bitter nutty aroma, i think hops and malts work together to get to this rather dry and bitter brown ale aroma. The hops are unfortunately rather unaromatic and resembles typical north european lager , more than the slighlty sweeter, more floral alternatives. flavor is malty, nutty, slight rye like sweetness, pretty well rounded, not that bitter in the end, less bitter than i would have thought from the aroma. faint floral notes in the middle. about average to below average brown ale, no reason to buy this one instead of some other brown ale, except perhaps this one might be pretty cheaply priced. If i blind tasted this, i might guess it was one of those generic industrial danish classic beers. lacks character and body to become a typical brown ale imho. i liked the other humleby beers a lot more than this one.
