A wine barrel fermented Danish Wild Ale aged on fresh red vineyard peaches!

"Hailing from the Mosel Region of Germany, the term “Ruud Peesch” is a local slang term used to refer to these strange and unique red peaches. Almost tropical in flavor, this varietal of peach is commonly used in jams and brandy production, but we found the acidity of the fruit and the tannins from the skin made an excellent partner for beer."

The base beers used in Ruud Peesch are a blend of several different Danish Wild Ales aged in oak for 12-18 months. The whole fruit was macerated on the beer for 6 weeks, then blended and matured in stainless steel for a period before bottling. Ruud Peesch has been naturally conditioned in the bottle for 6 months prior to release.

Aged for 12-18 months
