A group of friends that skateboard together at a certain spot are having a "session". These sessions can get wild and neck-breaking or "laid back". Both are good, but there is something magical about one of those laid back sessions on a Bornholmian summer evening. The same is true for beer. Our Session IPA is on the calm side with a smooth body of pale malt and a good flow of American hop varieties Citra, Jarrylo and Chinook. Grapefruit, lime, and pine needles are lingering scents, and the aftertaste is dry. In skateboarding and for our beers the same rings true: Balance.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, fruits, malt and hops. Nice bitter finish.

Can from Superbrugsen. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and loght hoppy - grass and citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 070820

Can. Pale golden, white foam. Light moppy straw aroma, very restrained hops. Medium light body, a bit grain, old hops, not the experience you want from a session IPA.

[ As Svaneke Laid Back - Session IPA ].
ABV: 4.8%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, hay, damp stain - fusty, wheat, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, earthy, damp stain - fusty - cellar, thin, wheat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191112]

Can. Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is very hopy with notes of orange, grapefruit, malt, soap and lemon. Taste is medium to very sweet and medium bitter. Body is light oily with medium carbonation. Finish is medium long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of prunes, malt, orange, grapefruit and sour apples.

33 cl can. Hazy golden colour with a bubbly white head. Fruity aroma with fruits, citrus, slightly minerallic. Taste is bitter. Light to medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish. Fair.

Can 33 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a rich, white head. For an IPA it has next to no hop aroma and as such a total let down. Medium body, vague citrusy notes, a vague fruitiness and a bitter finish. Totally mediocre. 251019
