A deep dark reddish copper porter with a thick frothy creamy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light fruity esters, light diacetyl, OK. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light fruity esters, light chocolate, light mineral notes, pleasant. Cask at the Rocket (Wetherspoon), London.

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Clear ruby/brown body with a medium beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of wood, Ribena and tinned peach. Flavour of tea, underripe plum and a hint of bubblegum. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Sharp and interesting.

500 ml bottle, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 4.9%. Mahogany colour, large beige head. Pleasant aroma of roast malts, chocolate and plums. The flavour has the same elements, smooth and easy drinking. An unexpected medicinal bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Black with shades of red and an ok white beige head. Aroma of plums and black currants. Taste of roasted malts, plums, fruit dragees, black currants and hints of chocolate. Sour-ish, juicy and fruity. Moderate bitterness. Low carbonation. Well it is what it is but a tad too fruity for me.

Ribena Ruby with a thin head. Aroma of blackcurrant. Flavour is fruit porter, plum and grape, smooth texture, bitter malty background. Interesting mix.

500ml bottle. Pours a deep brown with a ruby tint, tan head. Aroma is plum but very bubblegummy, seems like it'll be sweet as hell. Taste is very plummy but it's a sweet, artificial like bubblegum kind of plum, there's some dark malts there but this is all about the plum, finishing with an oddly sharp bitter tang. Light-medium bodied. Very nice but I'm sure this would be so much better conditioned on plums rather than having plum flavouring added to it.
