An extremely clean-drinking pale golden ale with a strong floral aroma and elderflower notes from the Cascade hops. This beer is full-bodied and full-flavoured yet gentle enough to make it a favourite session beer.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - nice crisp thirst quencher. Lots of citrus, not to sharp. Good session with it.

(2017 London) 1/2 Pint Cask @ Harp. Sampled cask @ Waterloo Tap. Review for the first one, second one was about the same. Totally clear amber golden, solid white head. Nose is buttery grainy with some weeds. Taste is grainy, buttery vaguely milky, bitter green, flowers, not much in the way of hops,โ€ฆ Milky & grainy cask body and taste, manageable but I expected so much more given the score on here & I definitely expected more hops.

Cark. Golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, earthy. Taste is grainy, earthy, bready. Soft oily cask mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Good cask ale, but where's the head of the hops?

Yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some sweet malt sugars. Flavour has a lasting floral dry finish.

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - A nice easy drinking light bitter. Light hops and malt and very thirst quenching. I served it on the cool side and that was perfect. It is one of my favourite summer beers.

Cask at the crown Eastbourne. A really solid golden ale and Iโ€™m really pleasantly surprised at the abv. Incredibly drinkabls, light, with flavour. Yum. ---- Cask at Bank of Friendship, London. 3.9 to 3.6. A decent gluggable gold. Great for %. (29/8/18) ---- Cask at the Patridge in Parsons Green. Disappointingly boring this time. the hop barely noticeable. Is this beer getting worse over time? :( 3.6 to 3.1. (24/8/19) --- Cask at The Rose, London Bridge. Strange to say out of production. Maybe someone annoyed at takeover by closure of Parsons Green.....still a fresh hoppy golden. Not as magical as it once was but a nice ale for sure. 3.1 to 3.5.

Clear golden color with a white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Nice body for a 3.8% beer. Soft to average carbonation level. Felt quite fresh and fine to drink. Good condition. Citric, herbal, fruity and malty flavor. Nice session ale!

500ml bottle. Clear golden appearance with a thin white head, poor retention, no lacing. Aroma: surprisingly malty, caramel, some citrus fruit. Taste is again quite malty, sweet caramel, citrus fruit, floral, hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body, smooth oily texture, quite well balanced. Easy drinking and certainly sessionable.
When you call your beer "Hophead" this is not at all what I expect - a little misleading and disappointing in that respect because hops just arenโ€™t prominent enough to warrant such a descriptor, I mean itโ€™s actually nicely balanced, anyway itโ€™s not bad.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Hoppy floral aroma. Light gold. White head is on the thin side. A hop bitterness, although there is sweetness seeping through the cracks. Light and watery. A softness to the mouthfeel. Long, if muted, mouthfeel. Decent enough.
