Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable dark tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with touches of malt, vanilla, and dried fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of dark chocolate and sweetish touches of vanilla, malt, yeast, and dried fruit. Roasty and estery aftertaste with touches of malt and vanilla. A nice one.

Bottle, 6.9%. Milk chocolate aroma, slightly acidic. Black colour. Ok dark brown head, but fizzy and unstable. The flavour starts off acidic and has notes of dark, fairly bitter, chocolate. The finish is acidic and a little yeasty with a good warming alcohol note. Reminds me of a Baltic porter, but a bit more mellow.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small and creamy light brown head. Discreet roastiness paired with vanilla in the nose. Medium body, dry and chocolatey - as in chocolate milk - but almost a little thin and watery, especially considering the ABV. The vanilla has now become very dominant and almost overpowering. Dry finish without any real bitterness. 230524

Bottle thanks to and shared with the in-laws in Hammel - pours black with a tan ringed head. Dark roasted malty with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, some charred singed brown sugar, caramel, medium to full body, twist of vanilla into the dark malty finish.
