Aroma of light fruit, Bretty funk, smoke, peaty notes. Flavour is a nice pungent sourness. Incredible beer, I love how it all comes together.

Draught@TCBW2018. Slightly hazy amber colour with a minor white head, which vanishes quite fast. Aroma is brett, peat, some fruits and mild resiny and wooden notes. Flavour is brett sourness with some citrus and mild wooden and earthy notes, then once the sourness goes milder, the smoke pushes it's way through. Well brewed!

Bottle into a taster showing deep gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows intense notes of peat and light brett. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Strong peat background, moderately tart, with moderately intense notes of soil and earthy moss.

Keg at Beaverex '18 Day II, 08/09/18. Hazed golden amber with a beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is big on peat, tarte fruit compote, hint of bonfire, Frazzles. Taste comprises tangy fruits, straw, peated malts, funk, damp wood, acidic bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sharp fruit rise enveloped in background smoke. Ok stuff ... not sure I'd want a whole lot mind !

Aroma of heavy smoke is being balanced by sourness. This is an odd mix but I find it's kind of working. There's wood and beef jerky in there too. Has a modest foam with foggy brown liquid. Flavour is balanced smoked wood and leather with an earthy sour funk. This is actually working, it could have been a disaster. It's a combination and flavour I had not seen before until now and it's executed very well. It's good on the mouth but could have used a bit more oil. I found this hugely unique and very memorable. Strange and spectacular stuff like this is why I rate beers. That, and I like drinking.

Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours amber. Aroma is smoke, peat, sourness. Flavor is sour, vinegar, peat, wood. Not getting any brett. Overall: drinkable, but mostly the peat-sour combo doesn't work for me

On tap at Brewdog Barcelona. Hazy deep orange, small white head. Smoke, peat, vinous, some berries, citric, light caramel malt, very sour. Smoke is nicely integrated into beer, not too hard to drink. Medium bodied.
