Fles 33cl thuis. Flink hopbitter, zoettonen, caramelmalten, flinke fruitexplosie, hars, pine, grapefruittonen, citrus, verrassende lichte zachtheid, licht boozy. Bitters en malten wisselen elkaar af. Niet alledaags. (22-2-2019).

Bottle from Tilquin English Beer Fest. Bottled: 20/3/18; Best before: 20/9/18; only just expired. Pours hazy orange with a lasting, small, unstable, frothy, off-white head; little lacing. Fresh aroma of carambola, fresh pineapple, orange peel, tangerine, straw, cheese, pine. Taste is light fruity sweet, hints of pineapple, unripe carambola & orange, but quickly turning medium hoppy bitter, grapefruit peel & orange rind in tune; accent of sourish lime. Dry, rather bitter, piney yet floral hoppy finish, lingering bitter fruit rinds, small dash of warming alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Still very fresh, very tasty, nice one.

Beaverfest Day 2. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and with decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Pretty spicy hop, starts to burn. Modest orange peel and tangerine peel. Light dry bitter spicy finish. Pretty spicy then!

Keg at CBC Islington. It pours clear gold with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, perfumed, stewed orange citrus, marmalade, apricot, peach and a hint of baked beans. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, straw, grassy, green, pithy, soapy citrus, grapefruit, orange marmalade, peppery spice and a touch of alcohol. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Punchy. Not bad.
