Can at the 2nd test tasting, H'zmere, 16/07/20 from an online source. Black with a good sized tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, maple syrup, strawberries, chocolate. Taste comprises syrupy sugars, strawberries, maple, sugars, light chocolate spread, tangy fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Boosty and way to sweet ... lacking balance all round ... not great.

Pours black, mildly tanned, stable, small head. Scent is blasts of strawberry puree. jammy as F , overpowering all and any. Taste is full, roasty, intense chocolate. Mild smokey undertone, but hidden by the rediculous strawberry jam. Maple is barely there, as this is just a tar/ashy/smokey/burnt chocolate + Strawberry party. Not really in balance ( but who expects this brewery to do balance? ) , but I would have hoped for better harmony. More maple, less sugary/jammy strawberry, and a smoother base. medium thick body, medium carbo (which is quite high in this balance). Doesnt taste sour, but certainly has a sourness to it (by the fruit ? ) . All and all it's very OK, if you like this kind of thing, but it's not the best possible beer with said ingredients, from said brewery. Still happy to finish my glass though.

330ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head, The aroma is big dominating strawberries. The flavour is moderate sweet and light sour, with a smooth rich, light roasty, tart strawberry, sweet, oily maple syrup palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml can. Quite strange, sweet strawberry juice with hints of roastiness and sticky maple syrup notes plus loads of lactic creamy notes. Messy.

26/7/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, maple, dark fruits, strawberry syrup, touch of liquorice and a hint of lavender. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Sweet and light tart to finish.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a malty color with frothy light brown head. Aroma is fruity, maple, sugary, chocolate, malty. Taste tangy, fruity berries, strawberry, mixed with chocolate and sugary. This one doesn't do it for me.

Can shared at Colin's lockdown tasting. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A opaque oily brown coliured pour with a plummy tan head. Aroma is tangy, raspberry, strawberry, chocolate, cookie. Flavour is composed of super sweet, puckering raspberry, sour, super tart maple, light coco. Palate is harsh, pucker, raspberry, highish carbonation. Really unbalanced.
