0.33l bottle from lot 5816. This one pours a honey golden cloudy looking body with a tall but quickly foamy fluffy grey head on the top. Mild lacings. It smells, well different. Lots of nice red berry sweetness combined with clementine peel, citrus, anise and a mild almost woodiness. It actually smells surprisingly nice this, and as already stated quite different. It's quite high on the carbonation and oily on the mouthfeel. In the taste I get lots of sour and almost salty lingon berries. No doubt about those here. Either you like em it you don't. I kinda do. However, it's definitely a little cardboardy also this. Does taste a little old and un-fresh. The mouthfeel is actually a little roapy after a while in the glass. The more I smell it the more I like the aroma. Yeah, all in all this was a nice little surprise. 21.04.2017

330 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a small, dense white head. Aroma has malt, fruit and berries with a hint of sourness. Flavor is medium sweet malt, some citric fruit, slightly harsh bitterness probably from the lingonberries. Medium body and slightly bitter aftertaste with a hint of berries and a faint hint of rubber. Interesting, not very good – to messy, but sure interesting. This kind of berries are more common used in sour beers and it might be a good reason for that.

Golden with a white head - Hop aroma with some citrus notes and there is some berry notes as well - Malt body with hops that gives bitterness and there is olso some berry notes - The hop and berries goes into the finish and gives a dry bitterness that lasts - This was good

27.01.2017, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh funky fruity, mountain cranberries, minerals, heather, grass, leafs, hay, light malts, berry skin, bark, hints of vanilla essence. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, weeds, leafs, heather, mountain cranberries, grass, bark, alcohol, minerals, hay, light malts, harsh hops. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry and harsh grassy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330ml bottle, lot: 5616, picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A two-finger sized head, pearl white and dense, with fine duration leaving clingy lacing down the glassware. Clear amber coloured body. Restrained smell of herbal hops and berry fruits. Rounded berry-fruit flavours, mix of lingonberries and caramel malts. Drying bitter tail. Medium bodied. Balanced and smooth. A nice Sami brew (Tromsø 21.01.2017).
