Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, amber with a small, creamy beige head. Very odd aroma, bonbon-like, or tea....very pleasant but not anything you'd expect in a beer, and especially not in a Sour Brown!! Medium body, lowish carbonation, subtle tartness but also flavourwise dominated by these perfumy bonbon accents. Interesting, but a zillion miles away from a Sour Brown. 111217 PS Oh now I see, the coriander of course.

Bottle. Clear amber body with basically no head. Aroma has caramel and hint of fruit. Flavor is smooth caramel, some fruit and quite dry. Medium body and aftertaste. This was a really plain version of oud brown, easy drinkable but not very impressive.

On tap @ Pingvinen. This one pours a blurry+ copper colored body with a medium sized softly lacing beige head. It has a mild aroma. I get both popcorn and tart wet wood. Sour green coffee beans and traces of paper. Not the most inviting one really, but it works. Really thin and what I'll call watery in the mouth. Also quite soft, near flat on the bubbles. Didn't taste all that fantastic either. Old berries, straw and watery plum. It has a mild mild sweet sourness. Sounds strange, but it's both sweet and a little tart. A strange one that didn't really work for me. 18.11.2015

About 100ml from a bottle at Bryggerifestivalen Trondheim 2016. Copper coloured body, slightly hazy. Clingy lacing from a dissipating beige head. Pale and brown malty nose added by berry fruit. Brown malty flavours offset by a mild tartness of berries and fruits. Rather long-lived malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. A nice, tasty, one (05.08.2016).

On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. It’s a lightly unclear golden to amber colored beer with a dense, off-white head. Roasted malts, a light fruityness and sourish touch and some dusty hoppyness in the aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same, with the sourness blending nicely with the roasted malts and generic fruityness. Lasting finish. Full to medium body and a nice carbonation level. A lovely one indeed. Not very complex in the flavor profile, but it tastes very well and goes down easily too. 151017
