Bottle. A clear dark golden to amber colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is a bit malty for my liking, not bad for a 2.5% beer though, bready and caramel-ish, with a pleasant piney, citrusy and resiny hop scent. It's medium bodied and feels a lightly watery, it's semi-dry and with a pleasant carbonation level. I think I'd prefer it slightly more bitter, but considering the ABV, body and dryness it's at an appropriate level. A solid malty flavor serves as a backdrop for the piney, citrus peel-ish hops. Long finish with the hops running the show. As mentioned earlier, it's a bit too malty for me, but it's a nice low alcohol beer anyway. 170928

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: lett uklar kobber med fint skum. Malt, engelsk karamell, citrus og urter i den gode aromaen. Smaken følger opp - dette er virkelig en lettøl med kvaliteter. Flott dybde i maltkroppen, og humlebruken komplementerer dette. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken. Svært lettdrikkelig, minner faktisk om en god engelsk session bitter. 7-3-7-3-15.

Bottle from Gulating Brennåsen. Almost clear deep golden to amber body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is mostly on the malty side with hint of toffee and toast and light citric fruit with oranges. Flavor is sweet malt, light toffee, some toast, ripe citric fruit, hint of oranges and low bitterness. Light bodied and a bit short in aftertaste, still not too sticky and with some kind of balance. It’s certainly no IPA, nor session IPA, actually it feels closer to a traditional British bitter – at least some kind of low alcohol version of a bitter. I’s a fine low alcohol beer with more to it than just a lot of hop aromas.

From tap. Pours hazy amber with a tan head. Aroma is solid hoppy. Peachy and grapefruity. Watery. Mild fruity and solid hoppy bitter. Bitter, grapefruity and slight citrusy. Bitter and dry into the finish.

33cl bottle from Gulating ølutsalg, Trondheim. Pours almost clear amber with a modest off-white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with light malty notes and hints of citrus. Moderate with mild, but pleasant hoppy flavours and bitterness. Tasty and refreshing low ABV beer. Quite nice.
