Bottle. Has a clear dark reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of dried fruit, caramel, heather and chocolate. A malty flavour of bread, caramel, heather, leather and some chocolate. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium body. A malty and balanced scotch ale. Nice.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear orange body with a big, lacing beige head. Aroma is a bit weak with caramel malt and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, fruit and slightly spicy. Low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Drinkable but not very exciting.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Next to clear apricot-reddish body. Patchy off-white head. Fair lacing. Moderate smell of brown malts, grain and yeast. Mixed taste of caramel malts and marmalade, hints of berries to a dominated malty end. Medium bodied. Smooth on the swallow. Satisfying (Tromsø 06.01.2017).

Bottle. An unclear, copper colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving some lacing. The aroma has green apples, caramel, bread, nuts and some roasted malts. It’s full-bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Bread, caramel and lots of green apples in the flavor. Long finish. Way too much on the green apple side this one. Not very good. 170107
