Had this one many years ago. Glad I tried again. Solid this time Clear nutty pour and a fine head Pleasant intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and bitterness Also a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink Caramel malty, fruity, herbal and some citric notes in the flavor [Can (2022) at Sørjordet Plaza in Drammen, Norway- 2023] Strange stuff. Must have been something strange with this bottle. Impossible to end it. Kitchen sink… Hazy deep golden color with nice off white head. Weird aroma with to much alcohol. Medium + body and an average carbonation level. A bit sweet. Still felt like a weird bitterness destroyed it completely. Very unbalanced. Dried fruity, strange herbal and toffee in the flavor. [Bottle at Eldars Juletasting 2016] (old score 3-4-3-4-9 : 3.2)

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter korn, gjær, lett brent karamell, røde frukter, noe svisker og lett pepperig lukt. Middels til fyldig. Brent malt, alkohol, kandis og tørket frukt. Alkoholen sitter lenge.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear amber body with a nice, dense off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt and citric fruit, very pleasant. Flavor is pleasant as well, sweet malt, caramel, fruity hops and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and tasty aftertaste. Might not be my first choice for a Christmas beer, but a fine beer anyway.

0.5l bottle from #007. The first thing I did was smell this, and I know exactly what it smells like. I'm 30 years old now, but my mother still gives me a candy Christmas calendar every year, and yesterday I got this candy strawberry. Quite sweet, somewhat cloying and really jammy. It has a big red part that just tastes sweet but also a green stalch part that tastes exactly how this smells! Strange stuff indeed, yeah I know.. Other than that it's mild nutty, I get tones of sweet dried fruits and some malty nutty caramel. Quite nice. In the glass it's a cloudy deep dark amber bronze one and it has a lovely looking dense medium sized beige head leaving some mild curtains and dots down the sides of the glass. Can't get over that strawberry thing.. Anyhow, it tastes quite yeast nutty and bitter at first. Almost like how your mouth feels like after you have eaten a slightly bad nut it turns really astringent and yeasty. There's also tones of old dried fruits, some leafy thing in the back. In the mouth it's well oily and it's just below average on the carbonation. Not a huge flavor experience really, but I can't remember the last time I was this spot on on the candy strawberry aroma. After a while it turns out quite decent I have to say. Grows a nice little malty sweetness. 11.12.2015

Amber with off white head - Malt and a nice hop aroma - Good malt body and there is some hops as well that gives a herbal spicy flavour with some hints of alcohol warmth in the back - Ther malt and spicy herbal hops goes into the finish - This was nice

Bottle. A hazy dark amber colored beer topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is rather hoppy, pine cones and resins and a citrusy touch. Malty, with caramel and some bready hints. Caramel notes in the flavor, with lots of bitterness and hoppy flavors like pine cones and citrus zest. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Some peachy hints showing up towards the finish. Quite nice this one, tasteful and sort of easy drinkable too. 151231
