Pours dark brown with a off-white to tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, yeast, smoke and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, smoked and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, dark sugar, hay, chocolate, grass, caramel, coffee, licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, hay, dark malts, burnt caramel, grass, sour coffee, chocolate, licorice, dried grain. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.
