Keg at the brewery, during London Bimble. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, fresh grass, earthy, creamy, brioche, wood and floral notes. The taste is smooth, crisp, doughy, grass, peppery grapefruit, earth, lemon peel, spice and some bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well-rounded, fresh and very drinkable.

On tap at Partizan, Bermondsey, Saturday 26th April 2014 Pours cloudy eggy yolky colour with white head. I am unsure about the hop situation but the hommelbier suggests Belgian hops which is good and is good in a restrained sort of way. Pleasant easy drinking beer that makes me think of Poperinge, Good. Keg at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a fluffy, white head. The nose holds dry pale malts and light lemon rind. Light sweet flavor with a hint of lemony tang, more dried pale malt, some bitter grass, hay and pine needles. Light in body with average carbonation. Crisp finish with further notes of pale citrus, a bit of dry pale bread, crispy hay, clean minerals, straw. Nice beer.
