12 oz bottle from the brewery. Dark brown pour, small light brown head. Roasted malt, a little chocolate. Some nutty notes. Not much maple. Slightly bitter close. Mid-plus bodied. Solid.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. As good as black bin the glass with a small quickly sidesticking dark beige top. The nose is nice and roasty with lots of chocolate paper and softly roasted malts. Some coffee as well. About average soft prickling carbonation and a good thick oily mouthfeel. Chocolate, coffee and dark roasted malts dominates the taste. Some brownie cake also actually. Quite a tasty one. 13.06.2013

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvikar. Black, not opaque, with light brown foam. Roasty aroma with some coffee, a bit of maple, light smokiness, nutty notes and a bit of caramel. Bittersweet flavor with coffee, roastiness, somewhat smoky/ashy, and nutty notes. Medium-bodied.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a fading tan head over a brown body. Aroma of dry coffee grounds, and a bit of alcohol. Taste is nutshells and coffee grounds. Very dry roast. Dry and thin mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle. Pours opaque black with a small tan head. A very nice present aroma of sweetness (maple?), roasty coffee, and chocolate milk. The taste is no where as good as the aroma. Some hints of roasty-coffee. Leaves a slight coffee-like bitterness. Had this yesterday with the Terrapin WnB Imp Stout, and the regular Wagner Stout. This was definitely the best, that great aroma came out and it was a joy to drink.

This pours almost black with a gigantic mocha colored head that seethes and writhes! The aroma of this beast is dark caramel with a hint of maple and smoke. I’m going to have to wait for this head to die down so I can taste it! The taste is sweet with a nice roast bitterness that finishes sweet. Body is a little thin, but htis is very drinkable and not a bad change of pace.
