Bottle at home. Pours a golden amber colour with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, leather and some spices. The flavour has tones of roasted almonds and pepper, and is also pretty sweet. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A sweet, spicy and easy drinking ale.

500ml bottle, 6.2 % version, from Vinmonopolet bestillingsutvalget, cellared for about a year. Clear golden-brown body with a reddish shade. Lasting, frothy, off-white, fine lacing, head. Good looking, indeed. Moderate aroma of dried fruits, earthy malts and mild spices. Mixed taste of caramel malts and marmalade fruits. Finish is on the sweet side of bittersweet. Medium bodied. Quite tasty, a tad too sweet though (Tromsø 20.04.2014).

500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 6.2%. Brewed with coriander. Hazy deep amber colour, moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of caramel and coriander, hints of bread and dust. Rather sweet flavour, caramel and coriander again, some fruity notes. Low bitterness. Drinkable, but does not blow my socks off.

Flaske 0,5l Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Fortært i Skibotn 16 Mai 13. Gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Middels skum som flater ut. Litt lacing. Grei fruktaroma. Smaken litt sitrus med hint av mandler. Litt syrlig etter hvert. Mye bunnfall.

500 ml bottle. Slightly unclear amber body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma is mild malty with some spices. Flavor is mild, soft malty with a hint of fruit and spices, not much bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Drinkable but pretty straight forward.
