12 oz. bottle from the Christmas party. Thanks Matt! Pours a crystal clear gold color with a white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Standard hoppy IPA aroma. Standard hoppy IPA taste too, medium bitterness, with a slightly boozy finish. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Both the 9.0% ABV and the 70 IBU are obvious yet not overly aggressive. Okay for what it is.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a big white head that has fair retention. The aroma is faint with some grapefruit, cedar and resins. The taste was indeed very piney as the product description suggest. In addition to pine I get some minor grapefruit, a touch of malty sweetness and some sticks and twigs. The bitterness is a bit harsh like someone got heavy handed with a magnum hop infusion. The palate was full and viscous. Finished long and bitter. Overall: Decent-kind of a throwback DIPA. Did not pair well with some gruyere cheese.

Gas station! Pretty reasonably good looking beer, deep amber, good 2 finger head, fits well in my imperial pint glass. Hop nose surprisingly restrained, hints at a mild citrus, some wood or pine-tar. Some caramel in the nose too. Flavor hints at a mild fruitiness that I think is the citrus hops, but there's almost a British fermentation profile here? (or am I crazy?). Cookie-ish malts, slight toffee. Fairly low bitterness, lingers a bit like chinook with some deep resinous grapefruit, but it's again fairly restrained. Soft carbonation and medium bodied (or just a tad above medium). Feels fairly balanced between the sweet and dry, again typical of a British ale rather than say a west coast style that might be drier. But at 9% I guess we aren't keeping the malts out of the picture. There is a touch of alcohol warmth once swallowed. That's quite a bit of writing for a beer that I think is only just so so.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017 - London. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy white topping. Nice overall, some piney hops, supportive bready malts, a little orange rind, mellow booze. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Subtle warmth in the finish, more piney notes. Very decent.
