This bright, tropical, fruit-laden West Coast IPA is brewed with two-row barley, English crystal malt, and cutting edge American hops including Simcoe, Mosaic and El Dorado. Notes of mango, pineapple and strawberry culminate in a resinous, dank finish synonymous with the West Coast IPA style. Expatriate tastes like home no matter where you are.

Had this with some mushrooms at Savor and the guy rightly said ’this isn’t your average cali brewer.’ bitter finish. Grapefruit. Good stuff.

Draught @ Library Ale House, Santa Monica, CA. Pours yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty grapefruit, tropical notes, citrus and pine. Taste is juicy hoppy, resinous, citrusy, piney and herbal with some tropical fruits and hints of dankness. Finish is smooth, fruity and hoppy with some tropical notes, citrus, pine and resin. Pretty fresh and tasty IPA.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours light gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of citrus and exotic fruits. Touch of pineapple? Med body. Flavor is almost detectable breadiness and a great deal of not too bitter, very fruity hop. Not able to parse the fruity complexity, but it does suggest some of those hops from down under. Quite delicious.

A golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with light floral hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with catty floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at brewery.
