Bottle. Orange yellow pour. Malts stand out but also some juicy citrus. Very nice stuff.

Keg at the Charlottesville lol location. Hazy orange, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, citrus, tropical fruit. Taste is toasted malt, tropical fruit, citrus. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

750ml bottle pours a translucent orange with some sticky, sudsy white head. Nose has candy, guava, mango, super ripe melon, a little lemon-lime soda, some sweet grapefruit, super ripe white grape. Flavor has that distinctly candy hop Citra thing, tons of ripe fruits - grapes/melon/sweet citrus, grassy as well. Finishes a bit on the sweet side, but not cloying or boozy. Well done.

Location: 750ml bottle from my father, purchased somewhere in Richmond, 4/19/17
Aroma: Nice hop aroma of resin, grapefruit, pine, and grass, with a bit of caramel and orange
Appearance: Pours an unclear golden-orange color with a frothy off-white head and heavy lace
Flavor: Nice hoppy flavor, solid bitterness level, some orange-fruit and malty sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, a little sticky on the mouth, with a nice, soft carbonation
Overall Impression: Really enjoyed this one. Drinks great at 8.5%. The stickiness is present but not overwhelming. The hop bitterness works really nicely. It's more of a "recent" school IIPA than a "new" school IIPA in that I don't see anything floating in here and it doesn't taste like straight-up fruit juice. Anyway, this is really nicely made.
Really nice!!!!

Mango and passionfruit with some pepper. A little lemon and pepper. Golden pour with decent head. Bitter. Lots of hops but doesnt mesh super well like chainmail. Pours golden with ok head. Tap at Red Apron.
