Bottle. Clear gold color with a medium head. Aroma was a weak, watery grain smell that seemed kind of malty. Taste was also weak with a grain and like a lot of other major lagers with a unpleasant bitter finish. Besides watery bitterness there is not much to this one.

Golden coloured body with a copper glow and a very thin, off-white head, about only a centimetre tall. Aroma of grass, hay, light citrus, grain, yeast and a dose of herbs, but fairly light all around. Light-bodied; Grassy flavour with a biscuity malt bite and small flavour of yeast and fake sugars coupled with a bite from hay and dry/earthy flavours. Aftertaste is fairly simplistic, with only the malt and very light sugars and yeast coming through, but nothing that didn’t show up for the duration of the beer. Overall, a mellow and rather uniinspiring beer with grass, hay and yeast that comes through and not much else. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-June-2017 for US$1,25 sampled at home in Washington on 24-June-2017.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was perfume, grass and citric acid. The flavor was dry and tart with citrus, perfume and grass. Medium length finish. Light to medium body. Meh.

Warm enough today that I need a summer beer!

12 oz bottle from A&P Hoboken, 5/27/15, My 100th Pilsener rating
Hazy gold-orange color with a thin white head and some spotty lacing. Grainy malt aroma, some German hops, brad, a little spice, and some earth/dirt. Flavors comes through pretty much exactly the same way. Grainy, spice, and a decent, light bitterness on the close. Feels okay. Light-medium bodied, a little too much carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish. Goes down easy. Probably fine that I only have one, but this isn't a bad beer.
