Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a sustaining finger’s worth of tan foamy head. Dissipated slowly and left some spotty lace.
The aroma had some roasted coffee bean, light dark chocolate nibs. Ends with a little bit of earthiness.
The flavor seemed to blend fairly nice between the roast, chocolate nib bitterness and the earthiness. Not much of an aftertaste. Finishes dry with a bittersweet clingy-ness.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt reasonable.
Overall, pretty good session dry stout worthy of having again.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 4/18/15
Aroma: This beer has a light, roasted aroma, with some coffee notes as well.
Appearance: Pours a dark brown color, with a tan head and some light, spotty lace on top.
Flavor: The taste is similar, minimal sweetness, roasty, with a somewhat bitter close.
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light for the style, with a lively carbonation, and a dry finish.
Overall Impression: Decent enough dry stout, the nose is a little dull, but overall, it is a solid brew.
