For this rendition of an Old Fashioned Lemonade we teamed up with our brothers and sisters from Evil Twin Brewing (NYC). Fair and heavily hopped base beer beefed up with a touch of lactose and blended with refreshing lemon juice. Refresh, Re-imagine.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: golden copper semi-cloudiness with a two finger white foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: actually smells just like lemonade and with a little bit of lemon zest and a light tone of honey then some bready malts
Flavor: seemed odd because there was the tart to semi-sour sort of vibe from the lemonade quality; finishes more like lemonade than beer
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also the noted lemonade subtle zippy feature
Overall: is there a beer in here somewhere? Because I swear I was drinking lemonade the whole time and honestly didn't see much of any sort of "IPA" quality with this. Seemed somewhat of a gimmicky beer but hey, I'm sure I'll still find other Evil Twin beers to tick on Brewver so it is what it is, I guess.

(Can) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Hoppy, slightly sourish nose with lemon, grapefruit, honey and apple blossom. Fruity, hoppy, slightly tart taste with notes of lemonade, grapefruit, green apples, honey and a balanced citric, floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Very nice.

355ml can from Beru Vykhodnoy in Moscow. Pours hazy gold with a tall frothy white head. Aroma is lemonade and malt. Taste is medium sweet, tangy lemonade, lemon zest. Low bitterness in the finish. Nice glorified shandy.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di luppolo e citrico. L'olfatto viene sollecitato in maniera elevata e la costanza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. Le bollicine sono grandi. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione rientra nella norma. Il colore è giallo dorato torbido. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è deciso. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pompelmo e limone.

can. can had been deformed by high inside pressure, the area on the other side of the opening had bent upwards so there was a almond sized bulge out on top of the can. Took my precautions and put the can in the bathroom and shielded by the bricks between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, i opened the can by hitting the opening area with a hammer. Can blew the lid way up with a big gas explosive BANG and then some of the beer guzzled out. hazy yellow, bubbly white head. aroma of fresh lemon, fresh peaches, hops and malts palate is super bubbly carbonated, beer foams up big time in the mouth. flavor is bitter hoppy, lemon , lemongrass, very bitter both herbal, lemon and hops bitterness, but quite refreshing anyways, if the can pressure was due to infection, it was a good infection, tastes a bit like a saison.

Semi-frozen, lemonade-colored body? Ummm, not sure how you score this for appearance.
Nose is lemon, light, leafy, lightly citric hops. Not much aroma, given the near-frozen quality of it....
Tastes like a lemon slushy, with a bit of sweetness, some leafy, spicy, citric hop notes (light) and mostly just lemon-honey character. Too cold to appreciate much of any beer character. A novelty, and a funny one at that, but nothing much of interest here.
