Mixed pack purchased in Vermont. Clean golden colour with a white head and good lacing. Grainy aromas with hints of honey and reminding me of a pilsner. Cereal grain taste with a little sweetness. Soda water feel. A decent golden ale that is grainy and easy-drinking.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden looking bronzed orange color with a rapidly dissipating fizzy head. There was no lacing.
The smell had a sweet starchy substance over grassy light hops. Light honey tones out to balance.
The taste was a balance between the sweet starchy and honey to the delicate grassy hops. There’s some sweet honey in the aftertaste and has a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. A crisp sweet body refreshes and rounds out with the starchy effect over my tongue.
Overall, it’s nothing bad, but I am wondering is this a wheat ale or a golden ale. I really don’t know. It’s just nothing over the top.

Taster at the source pours clear gold with a fizzy white head. Aromas of light wheat malt and something very off. Taste is bitter with a weird lingering something that should not be there. Disappointing.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/12/12

Aroma: The nose is minimal, with light cereal/pale malts and some wheat notes
Appearance: It pours an unclear golden-orange color with a very thin white head
Flavor: The taste is somewhat sweet, grainy/bready/malty, with a mild hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, with an average-plus carbonation, and a slightly off feeling finish
Overall Impression: This one didn't do it for me. This has got to be my least favorite thing I have tried from Rock Art, and I've given a couple of their beers fairly low scores...
