Pours pitch black with an extremely thin white head. Aroma of coffee beans, burnt malt. Taste has rich chocolate, coffee, extremely creamy. Palate has nice mild hop note, lingering coffee nose notes. Excellent.

Growler filled by Chris on 12/30 and shared by Stacey on 1/2/19. Thanks, team!
Clear, sandy mahogany with beautiful magenta-auburn highlights. No head.
Smells beuatiful! No lactose or heavy fudge. Really, really nice coffee. Fruity and prune-vanilla filled with no aggressive edge, stale roast or intense chocolate. Well-balanced, no alcohol, no flaw.
Flavor is earthy and fruity with toffee, maple and molasses notes adding a great mix of sweet and acid. Prune, raisin, grape and moderate sweetness linger on. No alcohol or flaw. Soft, malty and well-attenuated. Some will call it too thin, I call it dry, light and very approachable.

32 oz. growler from the source. Aroma is earthy coffee, mild chocolate, roast. The alcohol is totally hidden for the 9%. Smooth mouthfeel with a nice subtle lingering earthy coffee finish.

Growler from AFH! Light brown to dark. Looks dark brown in the growler. Smells like toasted walnut, marshmallow. Creamy. Roasty bitterness, burnt coffee grounds, pecan, chocolate, nice finish.
