Pour is a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is a decent citrus/grapefruit. Flavor is likewise. Fresh pine hops with some melon. A decently hopped beer with nothing offensive to take this one down a notch.

Deep hazy orange-tinted copper coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of malt, light grassy hops, yeast and a bit of cereal. Medium-bodied; Mild yeastie and worty flavoured body with a bit of hops, some malt, cereal, rice and unfinished character. Aftertaste shows a bit more hops, but just stagnant flavours that really don’t show well. Overall, a pretty mild and subdued beer that doesn’t go over well. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Broadway Wine Merchant’s in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 31-August-2009 sampled at home in Washington on 15-October-2009.

Orange color. Light malt and hop aroma. Flavor has fresh bread and malt, and minimal hops. But it does taste good, drinkable enough. I think it is much better than 30th percentile.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a clear orange body and a small, off-white head. aroma of orangy hops and caramel. Taste is hoppy with caramel and a very clean, not bitter finish. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.

Thanks to Darkover for the trade. This beer pours a clear golden orange color with a medium and fluffy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Large thin patches of lace that slide down the glass quickly. Grassy hops and grainy malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of grassy hops, toasted malt and mild fruits. The finish is lightly hopped with a short malt and fruit aftertaste. Not very exciting for my first beer from OK overall.

12 oz. bottle given to me by tjthresh. Pour is a slightly hazed orange, with a three inch billowing off white head that was quite lasting. Some very fine carbonation is visible on the pour. Aroma of nicely balanced citrus / apple sweet fruitiness and malt. Fresh nose. Taste doesn’t quite live up to the nose. The fruit sweetness is in the taste, though its a bit flatter, and a bit less natural tasting. The hazelnut maltiness adds some nice body. Overall, this is a decent enough Pale Ale. Thanks for fueling my State ticking obsession, Tom.
