On tap at Beerfor Beasts. Porters will always be my friend. Malty aroma. Tastesof dark chocolate,nutty, some bitters. Quite nice beverage I’d prefer to have another now.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

Location: Draft at Rattle 'N' Hum, 2/19/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly light: roast, coffee, and light chocolate notes
Appearance: The pour is brown/black with a brown head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is mostly malty, fairly sweet, roasted flavor, light hop presence
Palate: The body is medium with a fairly solid mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: This was a decent offering, but nothing special in my opinion. I don't have many complaints, it just wasn't exciting enough for me to go any higher than this.
