On draught at Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse. Clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Average overall.

Left Hand Path, Brooklyn tap: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt and a little bit of hops. This is basically a very easy-drinking amber ale with some light hoppage thrown in. There is nothing offensive about it, but nothing very interesting either.

Pours clear amber into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel and citrus aromas. Sweet with caramel front to back. Mild earthy hop finish.

6 oz. taster @ EBC. Color is clear amber. No head. I had to struggle to get any aroma… no aroma at all. The flavor is weak at best. Roasted caramel malts and floral, or grassy hops. Light in body with a watery mouthfeel.

On tap the brewpub as part of sampler which has very generous pours. nice amber color and tastes malty, of earth, caramel, raisins, some citrus. pretty decent amber ale could have a bit more backbone

Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governor's Island, 6/19/10

Aroma: The nose is floral and citrus hops, some earth, caramel, and crystal malts
Appearance: It pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium head
Flavor: The taste has some malty sweetness that is balanced by decent hop presence
Palate: The body is light-medium with a slightly metallic mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This was a decent Amber beer overall. The flavor if this one is a bit muddled, and it could have been better, but it was drinkable.

Tap at Governors Island Brewfest. Not bad. Poured medium amber with a fluffy, white head. Quite earthy in aroma and flavor with moderate caramel sweetness.

From tap at Union Ale. Pours dark deep orange, clear, and with a small tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malty. Crisp hoppy, peachy and slight tea like fruity. Bitter and slight citric flavoured. Dry and hoppy into a medium dry finish with a nice fruity note coming through.
