A dry, spicy, and complex Belgian-style ale inspired by Trappists. Aroma and flavor marked by the marriage of peppery spice, citrus, and pear. Noble hops assertively utilized to create balance.

Can @ Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan NYC (Aug 2025). Pours cloudy lemon yellow with a very small frothy white head, lemon peel aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel, vanilla, Belgian yeast, alcohol undertones, smooth body, long finish with some alcohol aftertaste. Quite a fine brew.

Can to chalice.
Appearance: golden murky yellow cardboard color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some subtle lace
Aroma: Belgian spicy yeastiness, candied stone fruits, crisp pomme-like fruits, some white pepper, light floral hop tones underneath
Flavor: combines all the prior noted aromas to sweet to Belgian spicy tone; quick aftertaste of Belgian candy, pomme fruits and white pepper
Texture: medium bodied, crisp apple-y smoothness along tongue; finishes crisp and Belgian spicy
Overall: pretty good Belgian Tripel, I'd be willing to come back to.

Golden colour and tiny white head. Sweet Belgian yeast esters in the nose. Light-bodied. Watery for its abv. Candied sugar. Light esters. Simple and too light.

One of the more anticipated beers in a recent order with the nice people at Half Time. The cooled-off can pint can is open and headed into my Delirium snifter. A translucent yellow-gold body is topped by a bare swirl of very fine, white foam. The nose follows the basic tripel game plan with yeast, grain and yellow fruit, all fine by me. With a drink I get a significant spiciness up front followed by nectarines, malt, a hint of hops, dry crackers and apricots. I call this one good.

Can (01/02/24) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Deeply hazy pale yellow with tons of sparkle, thin head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is clove and fruity esters, sweet malts, Belgian yeast, bubblegum. Taste is wheat, clove, pepper, pear, bubblegum, Belgian yeast. Smooth, silky texture, soft carbonation, no sign of alcohol (9% by this iteration), and dry, yeasty finish as taste.

Can at home. Schilling branching out to a Belgian style. Peachy yellow pour and smaller head. Nose is fruity and some yeast. Tastes of pear, apricot, banana bread, cloves, slight alcohol.lighter bodied for style. And not a heavy hitter alcohol wise.

16oz can pours a hazy gold with some foamy head that faded fast. Nose has huge yeast and pineapple, curacao orange, candy sugar, gummy bear. Flavor is pineapple and candy and gummy bear, malt, flowers, melon. Finishes off dry, heavy esters.
