Can: Poured a slightly cloudy golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with some light retention and some lacing. Aroma of blueberry notes with light cereal and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of blueberry notes with some clean cereal notes with faint residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing blueberry flavored beer.

Sampled at the brewery, murky orange, white head. Nose of blueberry muffin and honey. Grist. Flavor is blueberry loaf and pale grist. Light vanilla. Kitsch but OK.

Tall-boy. small pour. a yellow pink beer very clear, looks like watered down blueberry juice. Has a fake blueberry aroma and vanilla. hmmm, it’s very light, hay, straw, blueberry syrup, maple and wheat. refreshing just has a boring dull finish with too much sweetness.

I think everyone below that rated this is full of malarkey. At least, IMO, this is probably best beer by Moat Mountain and glad to see their prices seem reasonable these days.
Bottom of the can reads 06/15/2016.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy off colored peach colored body with a thin creamy white head. Subtle stringy lace glosses the sides of the glass.
The smell, obviously has the blueberry up front. Light dry wheaty base.
The flavor keeps the blueberry and brings it subtly sweet and well nourished into the aftertaste. Nice quick sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Carbonation does hit with a bit more than I would have thought. Hmmm....I don’t mind for the most part.
Overall, as a blueberry ale, this damn right works. Probably my favorite by this company. And prices seem better these days or at least here in Vermont.

Large sample from the can at the Granite State Brewfest yesterday. Lightly hazy golden color strong blueberry aroma, drinkable.

Pours a hazy light golden color with a decent sized white head that slowly dissipates to a cap on top. Light bready malt base with faint blueberry and light earthy hops. The flavor is like a light lager with a faint blueberry twang to it. Light bready pilsner malt with a hint of spice and some blueberry syrup buried deep underneath. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet watery mouthfeel. Bland, unexciting but technically nothing flawed here. The blueberry is too faint and the beer too uninspiring. Why on earth this 22oz bottle of 4.5% abv beer retails for north of 9 dollars boggles my mind.

16 oz. can shared by Phatdog1. Clear gold appearance with lasting head in a pint glass. Nose is sweet bread malts and faint blueberry.
Flavor is what you can expect from a fruit beer, weak. Don’t get me wrong, no flaws or major negatives. It is a light bodied, lightly carbonated, blueberry infused ale. The blueberry has a natural flavor so that is a big plus. Easy to drink and the women folk will love this! It’s out for summer for a reason, at 4.5% you can drink a ton of it if you desire. Respectable.
