Bottle shared in MV with the family. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose some peach, dried pale malts, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with notes of biscuits, hay, more citrus peel, straw. Light bodied with average, lively carbonation. Finishes with mellow piney bitterness, crackers, lemon rind. Nice SIPA.

500ML shared by AFH at fridge temp- a nice yellowish golden color with a bit of haze. This smells really great. Juicy, bright, really orange-citrus forward. Really exceptional aroma. The piney-resin-bitterness is at 11. yet the malt bill is very weak. If you want a lot of tropical / piney hop taste, this might be pretty damn good but honestly, it has this intensity that is beyond a session ale. The mouthfeel though, well done. good job, guys!

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops light lemon pour with a nice thin white head. Aromas of grass pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is crisp and tart with toasted grain and a nice light malt feel.

Fresh bottle, refrigerated, from Charles St Liquors, drunk 12/20/15.
Glad to see this on the shelf; really love this brewery.
Large, foamy, white head shows medium retention. High clarity in this pale golden body.
Dusty mosaic, with unripened nectarines and very light apricots. Some mild grapefruit joins the foray, but does not dominate, while a touch of vanilla and biscuits gives good dryness. Clean, clear, fresh yeast and light lemon lingering.
Very easygoing, sessionable beer shows lemon, vanilla, sugar cookie and a touch of light tangerine. Incredibly clean. It’s amazing how immaculately well-brewed Stoneface’s beers are. Grainy texture with good maltiness though very, very well-attenuated. Goes down too easily, with no resin, obnoxious bitterness or anything like that. Pretty much nails exactly what it’s supposed to. Awesome.

Thanks to Willrunforbeer on this share, the only Stoneface a New England rater has offered me BEFORE I have sampled it, Ha ha ... I’m also thankful that the brewery decided to add bottling dates on the edge of the label. Color is a slight hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma is light, mellow hints of Mosiac hops, grass clippings, scallions and traces of pale honey malts.
The flavor is exactly as the aroma leads me to believe. Pale grain backbone with the body not ever becoming thin like many session IPA’s can be. Notes of pine with the grass.mThe body is light but NOT thin. Bitterness is lingering and ends crisp. Lots of lingering grass for the bittering. Another well made brew from Stoneface

Bottle from Bert’s Small IPA at 5.8% okay. Slightly hazy deep yellow color with a decent sized bubbly white head. Juicy fruity, earthy, citrus, resinous hop aromas with a bit of bready malt deep underneath. Great hoppy nose! Resinous, earthy, pine flavor with a touch of mineral water and light crackery bready in the base. Great flavorful easy to drink IPA!

Pours light gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Tropical fruit and resin aromas. Medium bodied with grapefruit pith upfront turning to citrus marshmallows before the lasting resin finish. Pretty big for a session - coming in at almost 6 - I’m not sure why it’s called that style...
