On tap at Prohibition Pig. Pours a dark amber with large off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is dark fruit and earthy malt. Medium body, toasted malt, raisin, light bitterness, good.

Draft at Pro Pig, 16 oz pour spilt 2 ways. Aroma is earthy grain, pine, mild malt. Flavor has a grainy base and texture. Strong pine or herbal bitterness that lasts a good duration after the sip. Overall, pretty much an old school, straight forward IPA. Plenty drinkable.

Half pint at Pro Pig.
The appearance was a nice looking dark hazy burnt red color with lotsa nice lacing from a quickly dissipating white foamy head.
The smell had sweet caramel, toffee and chocolate malts.
The taste was basically the same with a fairly dry smooth sweet chocolate breadiness in the aftertaste. Light sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good red ale that I would have again.

2 finger off white head. Certainly has every characteristic of a red ale. Well, honestly it’s everything about a red ale. Malty, bitter, herbal, almost like medicine in smell. Decent mouthfeel. The bitterness and just intensity of it is challenging.

Tap. Prohibition Pig, Waterbury, VT. Clear, dark copper colour. Film of white head. Sweet, juicy, spicy orange hop. Chewy, sweet malts. A bit stewed. A bit fusty. Taste is spicy bitter. Fair amount of dryness. Light to medium body. Bitter finish. Dryish close.

Keg at Pro Pig. Pours deep amber with a creamy tan head. The nose has toasted grains, brown bread, some ripe citrus, pine. Light-medium sweet flavor, more toasty and grainy bread, mild doughy brown bread, medium bodied with average carbonation and massaging carbonation. Nicely rounded toasty brown bread to finish, faint cocoa, pine. Nice beer. Very well rounded.
