Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, small beige head. Generous aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, toffee and espresso. Mid bitter finish.

Can from my Beyond Beer Geek Edition Advent Calendar, forgot what day I was meant to drink this. Consumed at home Sunday 29th December 2024, shared with Baz. We had a Mexican meal tonight cooked by me and Loz. Listening to Tom Robinson on 6Music.Pours dark brown with a tan coloured head. There is a little bit of roasted coffee on the nose. Snooth mouthfeel, coffee and chocolate combine well, however all told I find this tastes thin and a bit watery, spent coffee in the mouth, yes not doing anything for me at all was expecting more.

Can at home. Opaque pitch black color, full sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, coffee, earthy, cocoa. Flavor is similar: malts, dark malts, cocoa powder, chocolate, earthy, coffee though less than in the aroma. Body is decent, carbonation is soft, texture is kind of in between watery and medium viscous. Very pleasant.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of coffee, bitter chocolate and dried fruit. Pours dark brown color with thin quickly diminishing light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet chocolate and rich coffee, following is dried fruity, mouthfeel is smooth and warming, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Coffeeista…

Pounder from GBX. Letting it warm up some. Pint glass @home. Russet pour, ruby highlights, cookie head. Medium dark chocolate, deep but smooth coffee roast, brown sugar nose. Smooth cold brew. Dark berry, sweet cola, nutty, with accompanying acidity upfront. Faint crust, mallow, earthy coffee bitterness & mild but lingering citrus pith on the finish. Very well brewed coffee over a weak beer base. Thin, higher than average acid, full but casual carb, just boozy enough. I like what I like.
