Pounder from GBX. Letting it warm up some. Pint glass @home. Russet pour, ruby highlights, cookie head. Medium dark chocolate, deep but smooth coffee roast, brown sugar nose. Smooth cold brew. Dark berry, sweet cola, nutty, with accompanying acidity upfront. Faint crust, mallow, earthy coffee bitterness & mild but lingering citrus pith on the finish. Very well brewed coffee over a weak beer base. Thin, higher than average acid, full but casual carb, just boozy enough. I like what I like.

473ml can. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, some cocoa, liquorice overtones; partially ephemeral coffee flavours, some subtleties get lost, more earthy flavours remain. Taste is bitter, roasty, dark malty, notes of coffee, some cocoa, some hop bitterness, minimally metallic overtones, subtle sweetness. Minimally oily, watery texture, dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice, yet partially ephemeral coffee flavours - quite OK.

Can (10/18/22) pour from Candia First Stoppe Country Store. It's a dark, dark brown--virtually opaque--with a bunch of white floaties, trace sparkle, finger-width light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong more sweet than bitter roasted coffee and malt. Taste mirrors aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, enjoyable but not complex.

Black with an enormous foamy brown head that lingered forever and left good lacing. Exceptionally strong espresso with some roasty malt. Somewhat sweet. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. One dimensional but it's an excellent dimension

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.

It pours kind of black with a small tan head of foam, good lacing.

The smell is coffee, roasted malt, bitter chocolate.

The taste is coffee, dark chocolate, some roasted malt, nice balance between sweet and bitter.

Smooth body hence taste and the alcohol is well hidden.

I would drink this again. wait, I have another can!

A deep dark porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with coffee grind, musty character, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee and vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at brewery.

Light coffee, cinnamon, hint of maple. Thin body. Nice on a misty fall evening. Tottenham may have lost to Arsenal, but at least I made a new friend.

Few cans at home. Dark pour and medium head. Nose is cocoa and char. Tastes of ash, chocolate, black pepper, coffee, molasses, chalk. Enjoyable.
