Had this draft beer during the 7/4 beer tour 2014 at the Bocktown. First impression is a smell of apricots or peach, very prominent. Bright clear with a thin head. Some fruity saddle for the taste. Finish lacks any bad fruit beer attributes. Not bad overall but I’m curious why this is not listed as a fruit beer.

Pale yellow. Sticky head. Simcoe and citra nose. Taste is a touch of vegetable. Celery and cucumber. Raw bitterness. Not a lot of malt backbone

Honey, dandelion, thistle, and pineapple aroma, medium strength. There is an intrusion of yeasty lillies, that doesn’t belong but otherwise it’s very nice. Hazy yellow, greenish hue, thick lacy head. Dandelion and whole lemon flavor, fairly intense, lightly sweet. Drier bubble gum at midpalate and beyond. Light body, well carbonated. Yet another example of what I’ve always known. Long Trail makes the best beer for your money.

Bottle from Hannaford part of the summer 12 pack. Pours a deep straw color with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists forever leaving plenty of stickies on the way down the glass. Bready malt with a nice floral and citrus hop to balance. The flavor is light bready malt a little spicy with lots of citrus. Light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a watery crisp mouthfeel. Nice light easy drinking lawnmower beer. I could have used a hint more malt character, but I could see pounding these on a 90 degree summer day.
