Purchased a 750 ml growler from the brewery on 9 Jan 2014, enjoyed on 11 Jan 2014. Pours a deep brown with a thin tan head and minimal lacing. Flavor and aroma is a perfect match. Rich roasted malts, hints of ash, light bittering pine, ale yeast tones. Earthy malt notes. Medium body and medium carbonation. Texture has an abundant dry roast quality. Overall, I always enjoy the brews David Sakolsky creates. This porter has exceptional flavor and is something I could drink multiple glasses of. Well done.

Black, brown edges. Espresso crema Nose is roasted coal and a bit of cedar. Chocolate overload Roasted chocolate and minor coffee bean. Tannic finish
