"My girlfriend ordered this at the Ale house in Fairfax VA. I had to try a bit and she loves making fun of me as I jot down notes of beers. A - No head, very light pilsner colored beers. It’s just a wattery looking beer like a Coors or Miller High Life with far less carbonation. S - Lots of wheat with some lemon and fresh cut grass. Very summery smell. T - Tastes like a weak hefeweizen but there’s still flavor here..but it’s very hard to find. M - Very light beer, no carbonation when swishing it around. O - This isn’t a bad beer. DFH took a style of beer that isn’t too represented in craft (with good reason) and made it tasty. I’d drink this over a Budweiser for sure and pick it easily in a blind taste test but it’s just not a beer I’d drink day to day. This beer would go GREAT with burgers and bacon!"

Draft at the brewwpub: Weak rice nose. Clear yellow, medium head. Rice, rice baby. Made with corn, but tastes like rice. DFH? Really?

Sampled on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a large head, good head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, sweet corn and light grassy hops. Taste is very similar... sweet corn and grain, but with more pronounced and bitter hop notes. Sweet throughout but not cloying. Well balanced. Very nice.

On tap at the DFH restaurant in Gaithersburg on 02/28/2009. Clear light golden body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet honey and toasty aroma. Sweet honey, toasty malt and light caramel flavor. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Draft at Falls Church. Pours a golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma is grassy. The flavor is what you’d expect from a light, almost lager like beer. It’s not bad - but I would shy away from it unless the only alternative was Bud or Miller. However, I would suggest this to anyone who generally only drinks those types of beers.

Crystal clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of light malt, no hops, some metal and light citrus. Light-bodied; Sweet citrus flavour with a simple malt taste and a light hoppiness. Aftertaste very clean and not showing much aside from light citrus and some mild malt. Definately worth trying-very nice for a light! I sampled this beer on Draught at the DogFishHead BrewPub in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on 27-December-2003.

No tongue in cheek here, this really is golden, bland swill. Vaguely malty, a complete throw-away beer to be reviled and despised like all the others.
