Location: On tap at the Brew Pub, 8/12/09
Aroma: Woody and smokey, coffee, actually has a pretty similar nose to the stout
Appearance: Dark brown with a light brown head, coating lace
Flavor: Similar to the nose, but it is a little thinner, and lacking some in flavor, smokey, mild bitterness
Palate: A bit light in body, thin, decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This was a pretty decent beer, but it was so much better in the nose then in the drink that I was a bit disappointed once I tasted it. Still pretty solid, but not spectacular by any means.
