Bottle. Light amber pour. Aroma of grapefruit, rye, caramelised malt, citrus and orange. Taste has smooth rye, caramelised malt, orange, grapefruit, raisin, a little yeast and bitter pine. Thick malty body. Leans towards a hoppy bitter strong ale, with all the maltiness. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Hazy, amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Rye spicy and piney, citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of orange, orange zest, some lemon, grapefruit, a resinous touch. Taste is dry, minimally sweet malty, minimally bready earthy and rye spicy, citrusy hoppy hints of orange, lemon, a touch of grapefruit, orange zest, biscuity pale malty undertones; lingering bitter and minimally citrusy, hoppy finish. Very drinkable - not bad.

0.33 l bottle from 'Speciaalbierpakket.nl', best before April 2021. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny and a little grassy aroma of mango, orange jam, some pine and a touch of spicy rye. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity, slightly resiny taste of orange jam, mango, some pine and a touch of rye, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, quite resiny finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant stuff, nicely thick and intense, well done!

Bottle at THT February. Cloudy orange golden with white head. Yeasty, soft grapefruit, bread crust, soft caramel, citrus peel, some sweet sugary grains. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Fairly decent, especially for a Noord-Hollandse bier.
