Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 3, split with 77ships.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Black, huge creamy tanned head. Nose is low gravy, mocha, roasted chocolate, very strong on the roast but the gravy & faint umami carries it. Taste sweeter than you would expect going by the nose, nice vanilla, lactose, mocha, chocolate, coffee, lower umami than in the nose, roast is low, pleasant mocha, lactose & umami style. Very thick low umami body. Very pleasant.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest. Pours black-brown with a stable, frothy khaki head. Dusty cocoa in the nose, nips of vanilla, light roast. Big sweet flavour with some oily vanilla, mild chat, gooey chocolate. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, a little sticky, with strong roast, burnt vanilla pods, earth, baking cocoa. Good stuff overall.
